This is a special early release of our 2011-2012 Dominion series splitboard. The Dominion boards are directional boards with nose rocker. There is 6mm of nose rocker that starts just in front of the front foot. From the front foot back to the tail there is about 2mm of camber. This makes the Dominion boards float really easily in soft snow and still hold an edge really well on hard snow. These are perfect boards for powder and backcountry riding. Our splits have full wrap steel edges all the way around each ski. We also use 2001 Sintered P-Tex sidewalls in the middle of the board on each ski. Each ski is also reinforced with uni-directional S-Glass stringers in the center of each ski. This reinforces each ski and helps to make sure that the flex pattern lasts after years of heavy flexing while you are touring on the skis. The splits will be available with the standard Voile insert pattern and will have the tip clips and hooks installed. You will need to have the Voile Universal Splitboard Interface to mount your bindings to the board.
